2nd May 2022

AoC Sport Introducing campaign: Rounders

We are pleased to introduce the Rounders as part of the AoC Sport Introducing campaign with dedicated information for colleges on how to get staff and students involved.

How can Colleges get involved?

Rounders England works with Colleges to establish Rounders teams and leagues across the country and aim to support establishments in developing social playing opportunities, whether it is in the park or an intra college tournament!

If you would like to start a Rounders team at your College, there is some information about the pitch, rules and equipment on the play section of the rounders England website.

You can also undertake an Activator Award (at £40 per learner or £20 per learner for the online version)which aims to develop a workforce to initiate ‘start up’ Rounders activity. If you already have a Rounders team at your college you can become members of Rounders England, at £45 per year.

Rounders England membership provides teams with a number of benefits including discounted entry to Rounders England competitions and access to Rounders England coaching courses.

If you are interested in Inter FE tournaments, Rounders England have set up a Facebook group (Rounders England University and Club League Contacts and Fixtures) where you can discuss areas of good practice from your own or other colleges and get up to date information on fixtures and contacts.
