We are please to be introducing Obstacle Sports as part of our AoC Sport Introducing programme

Obstacle Sports/ Obstacle Course Racing is a sport in which a competitor, traveling on foot, must overcome various physical challenges that are in the form of obstacles. This events can include well known events such as Tough Mudder and Wolf Runner.

UK Obstacle Sports Federation (UKOSF) is the National Governing Body for obstacle sports, disciplines and events in the United Kingdom. They are a member based, not-for-profit national federation that exists to represent the needs of the sport through athlete member representation and engagement.

UKOSF have also recently announced the British OCR Junior Championships on October 23rd 2022 at the Swanbourne Endeavour in Milton Keynes.

Now in its 12th year, the Swanbourne Endeavour is a gutsy, gruelling off-road endurance event. It allows you to plunge into the wilds of Buckinghamshire – streams, woods, fields and haystacks for a cross-country OCR race.

There will be a competitive 4K-5K course for age groups between 10 and 17. There will also be a shorter non-competitive wave for six years and up.

There will be finisher medals for all children who take part, plus non-cash prizes and trophies for the podiums of the competitive waves.
