Teachers' Pension Scheme

DfE has published the actuarial valuation of the Teachers' Pension Scheme which reports a £15 billion deficit on notional assets and a 60% rise in scheme liabilities over 8 years while explaining the increase in employer contributions from 14.1% to 16.4% in 2015 (presenting colleges and schools with a £500 million bill).
