How to get involved
We are always looking for providers to get involved with our projects, and all of the current opportunities are listed below. For more information, please email the team: projects@aoc.co.uk.
Opportunities are also published in the Projects briefing. If you would like to subscribe to alerts, please visit the registration page.
How we support our members
We secure funding from government agencies and other organisations to deliver a range of projects which support the sector. Projects vary in duration, scale and topic but have included:
- quality improvement initiatives
- college workforce support
- development programmes
- research pieces
- capacity building developments
- international enterprises.
Project outcomes are disseminated to the sector, ensuring good practice is shared and brought together. These help to raise the profile of FE, prepare colleges for government changes and ensure better outcomes for students. A large majority of our projects offer opportunities of funding and involvement for colleges.
T Level Provider Support and T Level Foundation Year Support Programmes
The DfE-funded T Level Provider Support Programme and T Level Foundation Year Support Programme offers providers delivering or planning to deliver T Level and T Level Foundation Year programmes strategic support to aid in their planning and implementation. The support offer includes access to events, networks, guidance resources and one to one support from an AoC adviser. Please visit our dedicated webpage where you will be able find more information on the programme.

T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer
AoC is working in partnership with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to deliver aspects of the T Level Professional Development offer on behalf of the Department for Education.
The TLPD offer ensures that colleges are equipped and comfortable with teaching T Levels from the very start of the course. Primarily, it is aimed at providers, and their staff, who have already started delivery of T Levels, or who are due to start delivery.
Please visit the ETF website for more information on the TLPD offer. If you have any questions or queries about the offer, please get in touch with the TLPD team.

Get Involved – The FA Project
We are inviting colleges to take part in the FA Project, a national partnership between AoC Sport and The Football Association designed to grow inclusive football opportunities across the FE sector. Colleges can get involved by becoming an Accredited College, delivering Just Play sessions, running intramural leagues, hosting festivals, or engaging students in a wide range of leadership and workforce development programmes.
Whether you're looking to expand your football offer, improve facilities or develop student leaders, there are multiple ways to participate and benefit.
