Ofsted Inspection Support
The AoC is able to offer support in preparation for Ofsted inspection; when you receive the call, during inspection and post inspection.
This includes guidance in using Ofsted’s FESIT portal, sharing insights into areas of current inspection focus & emerging themes and direct assistance during inspection.
Level of support this academic year 2025/2026:
73 meetings pre and post Ofsted inspection with member colleges, plus Ofsted meetings
17 member college inspections
1,125 individual members attended an Ofsted webinar in Spring 2026
- 173 (out of 188) member colleges accessed the Ofsted webinars; 92%
Ofsted survey responses: 100% Very Good or Good
Gemma is always available and incredibly supportive, she provides helpful information and is available for any support during inspection too, which we requested during our recent inspection.
