Colleges are brilliant. We know that, and we want to make sure that everybody else does too. That’s where you come in. As Press & PR Manager at the Association of Colleges, you’ll be responsible for getting the good news out there on behalf of our members.
We are looking for a storyteller; somebody who can identify opportunities, write compelling copy and pitch like a pro.
On any given day, you might be overseeing the launch of a major national policy announcement, advising a senior leader on how to handle a difficult situation that is about to hit the press, responding to questions from journalists on the latest happenings in Parliament, and helping to organise #LoveOurColleges campaign activities. It’s certainly never dull.
We are a fast-paced team, and as an organisation we are bold and always keen to try new things in order to achieve our goals. Whatever you are doing, you will get the opportunity to own it. We are looking for somebody with ideas, who wants to take on our media work and really drive it forward.
Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience in the further education sector – we can help you with that. The important thing is that have an unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives, and that you are keen to learn.

This role will also require travel on a regular basis, including the occasional overnight stay.
