We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and organised apprentice to join our AoC Jobs team. Our work involves using digital marketing to attract talented people to apply for exciting career opportunities in the further education sector and we need your help to do it even better.
From day one you will be an integral part of the team. We will work closely with you and our apprenticeship provider to make sure that you are trained and supported every step of the way. We will teach you what we know and we hope that you will share with us your ideas to help us continually improve.
About the role

- Uploading, creating, testing and delivering digital marketing strategies in areas such as Search Engine Optimisation, Programmatic Advertising, Social Media Campaigns and Email Marketing.
- Liaising with our marketing agency to ensure campaigns are relevant and cost-effective.
- Monitoring, reviewing and improving the effectiveness of client job postings, email communications and aggregator marketing campaigns.
- Developing and refining our social media strategy and growing our followers.
- Looking after our website and working with the central Communications Team to ensure alignment with key AoC messages.
- Talking to our members/clients and job seekers on the phone, via email or social media, assisting with their enquiries.
- Attending off-the-job training to develop your knowledge and skills towards achievement of an accredited qualification in Digital Marketing.
As you progress through the apprenticeship you will have opportunities to take ownership of areas of work.
The ideal candidate
You will have a passion for all things digital and are eager to get into a digital marketing career.
With a strong work ethic, hands-on approach to tasks and high attention to detail, you will be able to prove that you can solve challenging problems and share ideas for solutions with your team-mates.
You will have had some experience in giving good customer service and so will be at ease answering and making phone calls. With your professional manner, you will be confident in dealing with people of varying levels of seniority.
Written communication skills are also important as is a willingness to apply yourself to learning and getting to grips with new information and systems, such as IT programmes, a new online system or building your understanding of our products and services.
