Cheshire College South and West is the largest college in Cheshire, with three modern, vibrant campuses across the county. The college has a broad Further and Higher Education offer and a significant impact on the communities, local economy and individual learners.

We now have an exciting opportunity for two new Assistant Directors to lead and further develop the A Level provision. A Levels are a significant and successful part of the local offer and recent growth has resulted in over 750 learners enrolling to the provision. There is a diverse range of courses and fantastic innovations such as the Futures Programme, which includes seminars and support delivered through partnership with the University of Oxford. Learners achieve consistently well and A level learners have progressed to some of the country’s top universities and to great career appointments.
The new Assistant Directors will work together, with each being responsible for one year group of learners. The Assistant Directors will work together to provide strong, positive and inspirational leadership across the A Level offer. They will drive and develop outstanding provision through innovative and high-quality delivery, ensuring consistently excellent teaching and learning, embedding a high level of aspiration and playing a key role in the college’s journey towards an overall Outstanding Ofsted grade.
The successful candidates will have substantial experience of leading curriculum, with a demonstrable record of strong outcomes and high levels of achievement.
