After many successful years graded as Good by Ofsted, The Henley College is looking to build on its strong foundations and achieve recognition as an Outstanding provider. Fundamental to this will be an inspirational and forward-looking Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development.

Reporting directly to the Principal and CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in realising the college’s vision, values, and organisational culture. Leading a small team, you will develop and embed HR and OD strategies to create an environment where individuals can flourish and talent is identified and developed. The new post holder will ensure the delivery of an effective and high-performing HR service across the college and will provide expert advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Governors, and staff on strategic and operational HR matters.

You will be an experienced Human Resources professional with a proven track record of operating at a strategic level across an organisation. A proactive driver of change, you will have experience in organisational development and embedding strategies which positively impact the success of an organisation. You will also have an understanding, wherever possible through lived experience, of the challenges associated with developing a diverse workforce and the opportunities that it brings. Experience and knowledge of the Further Education arena would be beneficial; however, we welcome applications from high calibre individuals from diverse sector backgrounds.
