Student Governors Programme 2019/20

To support student governors in their role, the Education & Training Foundation have funded the new Student Governors Programme.

Administered by AoC, the programme aims to help student governors settle in to their role as they often only have one year to settle in, grasp the role and make an impact in the boardroom. The programme includes a series of induction events where student governors will gain an insight into how colleges work, what the external influences are impacting on the quality and future of education, as well as be able to find support and guidance throughout their year in post. Invaluable peer support will also be embedded into all activities.

The induction events will build on individual confidence and skills needed to be a valuable and active member of the college board.

For more information about the Student Governors Programme and details of your local induction, please visit the ETF booking site.
