Brexit: Preparing Colleges for No-Deal

As you are aware, the U.K will leave the E.U on Thursday 31 October 2019. AoC has received funding from the Business Readiness Fund to help colleges prepare for the change.

AoC have produced a 21-page College Readiness Pack. The pack is aimed at those in leadership positions, with the intention of enabling them to work through issues for their staff, students and institutions.

In the event of a no-deal Brexit, there will be a lot of issues relating to travel, migration, customs, tax, licensing and many others.
If you would like to find out how your college can best prepare for Brexit, then reading this pack is highly recommended. The pack will be updated over the coming period and can be accessed on our website.

We  are also hosting a webinar on Wednesday 16 October - 15.30-16.30. Not only will participants hear about support for colleges ahead of Brexit, but there will also be a live chat on the webinar for participants to submit questions. This session will be useful for college staff who have responsibility for Brexit preparations. To register, please click here

There will also be three podcasts which will focus on three different topics: people issues, travel and data. The podcast will be available to listen to week commencing 21 October. If you have questions on Brexit, please email
