Regional governance inductions and conferences

Funded by the Education & Training Foundation, AoC will be hosting a series of regional governance inductions and conferences. The inductions aim to help new college governors understand their role further but also discuss operating in an ever-changing climate. To book onto an induction in your region, please visit the ETF booking site.
The regional governance conferences will focus on managing local priorities and key hot topics within the FE sector such as remuneration, unconscious bias and technical education reforms. Register for your place at a governance conference near you.
The governance inductions and conferences are open to all governors, clerks and senior leaders within the FE sector.

Resources to support T Level preparation and delivery

Industry Placement planning and delivery
There are a number of resources available on our website which support providers to plan, implement and delivery Industry Placements. These resources were developed by The Challenge as part of the Industry Placement pilot and cover a range of topics including growing your employer pipeline and longer-term employer engagement, planning industry placements into the curriculum and preparing students for placements.
If you are a provider in receipt of Capacity and Delivery Funding, we encourage you to use the resources to support your delivery.

Teach Too resources
Greater employer involvement in T Level planning and delivery will be vital. There are a number of resources available on our website which help providers and employers to embed genuine collaborative relationships and to explore activities such as co-curriculum design and delivery. There are also resources to help provider organisations map the industry skills of their staff to future skills needs. These resources were produced as part of the ETF funded Teach Too programme.

Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment for T Level delivery

If you are interested in developing your teaching, learning and assessment practice for T Level delivery and are in the early stages of developing links with employers, AoC are delivering a number of workshops which will support providers to develop an employer responsive curriculum and pedagogy.
