The 5R's Approach to GCSE Maths Resits
We are looking for 80 post-16 providers to take part in the Education Endowment Foundation funded project called the ‘5Rs approach to GCSE maths resits’. The project aims to conduct trials using manualised intervention methods to support students re-sitting their maths GCSEs to improve their attainment.
The programme content is built on the 40 most common topics in GCSE exams and common exam pitfalls and aims to introduce students to alternative methods for undertaking common but tricky calculations, such as multiplying numbers and adding fractions. For more information about the project, eligibility and applying to take part, please visit the AoC website or email 5Rs@aoc.co.uk.
Centres for Excellence in Maths
