OTLA Phase 1 and 2 project case studies and resources

During the ETF funded Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment National Technical Skills Programme we have had 15 projects run within phase 1 and 6 within phase 2. 

Phase 1 projects ran March - November 2017.

  • City College Plymouth - Engineering  and Manufacturing technical route
  • College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) - Digital technical route
  • Derby College - Engineering technical route
  • Harlow College - Construction; and Engineering and Manufacturing technical routes
  • John Ruskin College - Health and Science technical route
  • Lakes College Cumbria - Engineering and Manufacturing technical route
  • Lincoln College - Construction; Creative and Design; Engineering and Manufacturing; and Hair and Beauty technical routes
  • Liverpool Adult Learning Service - Digital technical route
  • London College of Apprenticeship Training - Business and Administrative; and Construction technical route
  • Rathbone Training - Social Care technical route
  • Reaseheath College - Agriculture, Environmental and Animal Care technical route
  • Solihull College and University Centre - Engineering and Manufacturing technical route
  • South Devon College - Hair and Beauty technical route
  • South West Association of Training Providers - Construction technical route
  • Weston College - Catering and Hospitality

 

Phase 2 projects ran August 2017 - January 2018.

  • Abingdon and Witney College - Engineering and Manufacturing technical route
  • Blackburn College - Digital technical routes
  • Grimsby Institute Group - Catering and Hospitality; Construction; Creative and Design; Digital, Engineering and Manufacturing; and Hair and Beauty technical routes
  • London South East Colleges - Catering and Hospitality technical route
  • Nelson and Colne College - Creative and Design technical route
  • West Thames Colleges - Transport and Logistics technical route

Phase 3 projects will be producing case studies detailing their project aims, outcomes, lessons learnt as well as offering resources that can be used by the sector, these will be availbale in March 2019. In the meantime please take a look at the phase 3 project summaries.
