New resources on the maternity-lifecycle – Equality and Human Rights Commission
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has launched a new toolkit for employers and employees to assist them through the maternity-lifecycle, and other related family friendly schemes. The freely available resources include:

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the EHRC has also published a report on two surveys that cover the views, perceptions and experiences of employers and mothers on a wide range of issues related to pregnancy, maternity leave and mothers returning to work. The report, based on the interviews with 3,034 employers and 3,254 mothers, is called ‘Pregnancy and Maternity – Related Discrimination and Disadvantage First findings: Surveys of Employers and Mothers’ and is available to access on the EHRC website.
