- New indoor rowing workshop for colleges
New indoor rowing workshop for colleges
2nd September 2021
September 2021
Colleges are encouraged to sign up to British Rowing’s new online e-learning workshop to better understand how to use an indoor rowing machine in a college environment.
Go Row Indoor is available to all students and staff, whether they are linked to a sport or a fitness course, those looking to learn and develop a new skill, or anyone looking for further training to enhance their CV.
The workshop is a perfect way to allow more people to access and be a part of an inclusive sporting activity. The e-learning training costs £30 and will help college staff acquire knowledge of the British Rowing Go Row Indoor programme. It includes how to set up the indoor rowing machine for individuals or groups, how to improve your indoor rowing technique, simple coaching drills and more.
The key aim is to increase the knowledge of college staff so they can encourage new people onto the indoor rowing machine for health and fitness benefits, as well as improve the delivery and experience of one of the best full workout machines in the gym.
AoC Sport has been working with British Rowing over the past four years helping train up students through the Go Row Indoor offer in order to create the next generation of indoor rowing students, fitness professionals and staff.
More information on how to sign yourself or your college up to the online workshop can be found here.
