A message from Deputy Director Jennifer Coupland
14th December 2017
Dear Trailblazers
I wanted to write and thank all those Trailblazers, and those working alongside you, who responded so positively over the summer to my invitation to share your ideas about the future long term governance arrangements for apprenticeships. I’m pleased that so many of you responded and the level of consideration you’ve given to this issue for your sectors.
I know many of you are keen to understand the timeline of this work. We will continue to speak with Ministers over the coming weeks about their preferred direction of travel, with a view to saying something publicly after the Spending review, later in the autumn. In the meantime, if you are submitting an assessment plan for approval, please remember that we will not be able to approve plans which include sector governance arrangements, because of this wider piece of work.
Many thanks for your continued support.
