The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is a leading education provider in the South East, which strives to inspire ambition and make a positive difference to lives through learning. Formed of three main colleges located in Langley, Windsor and Egham, the college has a turnover of £24m, employs over 600 staff and provides over 800 full-time, part-time and apprenticeship courses in various subjects, from entry level through to Higher Education.
The college is now seeking a Director of HR to lead and manage all Human Resources functions across the Group to enable the colleges to recruit, develop and retain a high calibre workforce and raise performance. Reporting to the Deputy CEO, this post will play a key role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, instrumental in delivering an effective, efficient and responsive HR service to the Group whilst responding flexibly to the evolving internal and external environment.
The post holder will be providing effective oversight of policy development and planning to deliver innovative solutions ensuring a consistent and robust approach across the Group as well as develop and implement HR strategies to optimise the performance of the Group and its staff.
Our successful candidate will be a CIPD qualified Human Resources professional with demonstrable experience of operating as a strategic lead across a complex organisation. You must have the ability to optimise digital technology systems to transform working practices as well as experience of working in a unionised environment and negotiating with union representatives and officials.
A strong communicator, you will possess the gravitas and ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels within the organisation as well as understand the key strategic drivers required to ensure organisational success.
