Future Apprenticeships: Everything you need to know about Apprenticeships
5th September 2016
As part of the second phase of the Future Apprenticeships programme, commissioned by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF), AELP are offering a one day ‘crash course’ in all areas of apprenticeship policy, planning and implementation drawing on the latest facts provided by the Skills Funding Agency. During the day there will be opportunities to share concerns and hear the ‘current truth’ from a facilitator close to policy development and providers that have already begun delivery.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the workshop delegates will be able to;
understand the policy direction for apprenticeships
understand the new apprenticeship funding arrangements
recognise the opportunities that the apprenticeship reforms bring an organisation
register as an apprenticeship training provider
be familiar with the arrangements for the new Digital Apprenticeship Service
plan for the transition from existing frameworks to apprenticeship standards
explain the potential implications to staffing and organisational structure to the rest of your organisation
be able to confidently cascade and disseminate the knowledge to your team and partners
Who should attend:
These workshops are for managers and practitioners from all types of providers including employers who are providers. They would also be of interest to organisations who are not yet delivering apprenticeships but see the current reforms as an opportunity to move into the apprenticeship market.
Delegate Fees:
£100.00 per delegate (discounts apply click here for further details).
Booking:
There are eight dates and locations for these workshops which will be delivered regionally during October, November and December 2016. Please click here for further details and to register your interest.
