- ECFA Development Fund application window opens
ECFA Development Fund application window opens
17th May 2021
The third application window of the ECFA Development Fund is now open to ECFA Accredited Colleges who wish to lead on the delivery of a collaborative project in partnership with one or more local football stakeholders during the 2021-22 academic year.
The fund will contribute up to £10,000 per project to drive collaborative delivery that meets the needs of the college and the local community. During this application window, the fund is accessed by bidding to deliver against pre-determined project briefs which provide a range of innovative approaches to developing football in further education and the local community.
Dan Greenwood, National Football Development Officer said: “We’re excited to open the ECFA Development Fund for the third time this academic year. We have already invested £22,000 through the fund into projects driven by colleges, which will benefit their students and their community. The level of community collaboration that the Development Fund projects encourage is essential for delivering sustainable programmes that will support the rebuilding of the game post COVID.”
The application window opens Monday 17 May and will remain open until Friday 11 June.
