We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to fill this newly created senior leadership role, covering both curriculum and quality improvement and assurance at our campuses in Bath and Somer Valley.

As Deputy Principal you will be key to delivering strategic leadership, with a focus on the overall direction of curriculum, teaching and learning strategies and quality. You will be expected to be adaptable, to progress new ways of working and systems thinking and will be responsible for driving forward the quality of teaching & learning, and developing and embedding new courses to meet the needs of employers. You will also be our senior designated safeguarding officer.
We need a strong communicator, having the ability to horizon-scan, think ahead and effect change through innovation to move us towards excellence. You need to be a creative and considered thinker capable of inspiring trust in staff and students
You will have delivered successful results as a senior manager, ideally within a further education environment. Educated to degree level and with a teaching qualification you will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities presently facing the educational sector, particularly in relation to post-16 provision. The ability to lead, manage and motivate staff to achieve the highest level of quality and performance is essential.
