Bath CollegePrincipal and Chief Executive
Salary: Competitive
Bath College is an ambitious and successful GFE college, committed to shaping successful futures for its students whilst contributing to the economic growth of the region. The college has an annual turnover of £23m and delivers high quality technical and professional education and training from two campuses; the City Centre Campus in the heart of Bath, and the Somer Valley Campus, nine miles south west of the city. Following the recent successful merger, the college is very strongly placed to support the needs of its communities and stakeholders.
The strength of our partnership working is highly distinctive; we develop talent pipelines in conjunction with employers, while playing an active role with schools and the local authority as a valued and respected partner. This has led to exciting new initiatives, such as the Somer Valley Business Centre in conjunction with the Local Authority and the Bath Hotel School and the Future Spark digital academy with local employers. We continue to push the boundaries to make the most positive impact on our communities.
Our college is guided by a strong and progressive board of governors, committed to achieving excellence. The platform for progression is well established and provides an excellent opportunity for an exceptional Principal to take our college forward.
We are seeking a strategic leader who will have the presence and credibility to inspire staff, learners and external partners. Creating a highly visible profile internally and externally, you will champion the quest for ongoing excellence and continuous quality improvement, while nurturing the college’s external relationships with employers and community partners. A resilient and determined individual, you will set high standards while using knowledge of national developments and local needs to create strong prospects for the college.
Whether you are a current serving Principal or an aspiring leader, if you believe you have the vision and drive to lead Bath College to achieve its ambitious objectives then we would welcome an application from you.
