Secretary of State announcements on GCSE and A Level reforms

A package of announcements from Ofqual and DfE:
confirmed content and assessment arrangements for thirteen A Levels for first teaching in 2015
confirmed regulatory requirements for new AS Levels
published the revised content for GCSEs in science, history, geography and languages, confirmed the assessment arrangements for geography and history, and confirmed the intention to consult on the assessment arrangements for GCSE science subjects.
launched a new. Consultation on the structure and assessment of GCSEs in modern foreign languages and ancient languages, which are for first teaching in 2016.
announced details of further GCSE and A Level subjects it wants developed for first teaching in 2016.
