Salary: £51,662 – £63,524 pa, depending on experience

This is one of two exceptional opportunities that have arisen at Assistant Principal level owing to internal progression.

Wirral Metropolitan College is a successful FE college, with a turnover of £21m and c.10,000 learners, we are the largest provider of 16-18 education, adult education, training and apprenticeships in Wirral. As our new Assistant Principal – Visitor Economy, Health, Care and Public/Professional Services, we will expect you to work with skill, pace and commitment. We are seeking a skilled people manager and leader who will play a key role in continuing our journey towards Outstanding. You will have a strong track record in curriculum innovation and quality assurance together with a creative and effective management style and the ability to develop and implement operational strategies, motivate a high performing workforce and leverage new opportunities. You will be working with a progressive, committed and supportive Board and senior leadership team who are ambitious for success. You will have the opportunity of reviewing, shaping and implementing the long-term strategy for the College. This post provides an exciting opportunity to deliver successful, sustainable and meaningful change and to contribute to the College being clearly recognised as a beacon of excellence and inclusion.
