Employment Policy and Services

AoC's Employment Team provides advice, policy guidance and representation to members in areas of employment law, industrial relations and HR practice. We actively encourage members to engage with us regularly to provide feedback on the issues that affect them; this supports us in providing a collective voice and ensures that our guidance and advice continues to be relevant to the sector.

Our confidential helpline is available for AoC members from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm and provides indemnified advice in areas of employment law, industrial relations, employment relations and HR practice. Our weekly briefings have a high annual readership and contain topical updates, news and advice regarding employment law and workforce issues. The briefings also communicate key issues which have an impact on the FE workforce directly to members.

Additional services

AoC Create offers additional products and services to help your college succeed in today’s challenging environment.  These include:
