This practical one-day programme is designed to support those who have recently moved into a management role or those who are aspiring towards their next step into management.

The aim of this and the next two modules (Managing People and Performance & Resilience for New Managers) is to help you explore the challenges facing you and then giving you some core skills and approaches to help you step up into your new role.

By attending this programme, delegates will:

Reflect on the key aspects of the role of a manager/leader

Understanding your leadership and management core strengths and foundations

Develop strategies to help manage and lead your team effectively

Develop approaches to ensure all team and other meetings are both effective and valuable

Identify communications approaches and strategies that support effective leadership and management

Start to build your own personal self-management PDP in respect of your management role and responsibilities

There will be pre and post programme activites to support the learning.
