This year’s AoC Sport Curriculum Conference will focus on the Intent, Implementation and Impact themes of the new Education Inspection Framework. The event aims to support colleges in continuing to develop the quality of their curriculum offer, as well as considering how to evidence the wider contribution of sport and physical activity to the new personal development element of inspections.
The morning session includes a keynote from Dr. Richard Benyon HMI and an employer panel made up of industry professionals, who will be discussing how colleges can best prepare students for future careers in the sport and physical activity industry.
Breakout sessions throughout the day will feature leading experts, awarding organisations and the latest FE research findings, as well as showcasing evidence and examples of best practice from colleges across the country.
This is the only national event dedicated to curriculum sport and active leisure departments within colleges and is a great opportunity to network and share best practice with colleagues.
There will also be a varied exhibition of organisations and companies with valuable offers for college sport staff.
