AoC Principals' Finance Masterclass Series – Autumn 2022
Venue: Online via Zoom
Date: 01 November 2022
Time: 08:30 - 10:00
Fee: Starting from £45 + VAT per AoC member per session
AoC has designed a series of five finance masterclasses to give college senior managers and leaders a solid understanding of the complex nature of college finances, support on the questions they should be asking, what good practice looks like and the tools to understand how and when to raise concerns. These sessions are tailored for senior leaders within colleges. Governors are recommended to attend our governance masterclass series.
These sessions have been created and will be led by Andrew Tyley, a leading expert in further education funding and a Deputy Further Education Commissioner.
All sessions will take place from 8.30-10am, online.
• 1 November – Role of the Accounting Officer
• 8 November – Interpreting Management Accounts
• 22 November – Cashflow forecasts and loans
• 29 November – Financial health grades and FEC benchmarks
• 6 December – Capital Projects and Finance
All sessions will include interactive presentations, small discussion groups and Q&A.
Sessions are just £45 per person per session for member college delegates and £75+VAT per person per session for non-members. Delegates can choose to attend as many or as few sessions as they wish.
For AoC members, the discount automatically applies at checkout.
