Venue: Online via Zoom
Date: 29 June 2022
Time: 16:30 - 18:00
Fee: Starting from £45 + VAT per AoC member per session
AoC has designed a series of five governance finance masterclasses to give college governors a solid understanding of the complex nature of college finances, support on the questions they should be asking in their board meetings and the tools to understand how and when to raise concerns and offer input.
These sessions have been created and will be led by Andrew Tyley, a leading expert in further education funding and a Deputy Further Education Commissioner.
All sessions will take place from 4.30-6pm, online.
• 22 June – Introduction to FE Finance
• 23 June – Interpreting management accounts
• 29 June – Cashflow forecasts and loans
• 30 June – Financial health grades and FEC benchmarks
• 14 July – Funding and data
All sessions will include interactive presentations, small discussion groups and Q&A.
Sessions are £45 per person, per session for member college delegates and £75+VAT per person per session for non-members. Delegates can choose to attend as many or as few sessions as they wish.
For AoC members, the discount automatically applies at checkout.
