Mentoring and Buddy System – T Level Route Specific Mentoring Project.

On the 27th of February the AoC is launching its workshop to introduce the new mentor/mentee project.

The project's aim is to establish collaborative partnerships among providers delivering similar T Level routes, fostering the exchange of good practices, skills, experiences, and advice. The initial partnership is scheduled for a three-month duration, commencing in the spring. During this period, there is an expectation that you engage in a minimum of three focused meetings to address specific areas identified from a SWOT analysis and reflective activity.

Mentors: If you are an early wave T Level provider in delivery or a provider in planning, we invite you to be a part of this exciting initiative. Your experience and expertise are invaluable, and your participation will play a vital role in shaping the future of T Level education.

Mentees: For mentees, this project offers a unique chance to actively engage with experienced mentors, acquiring knowledge, skills, and experiences that will significantly benefit their T Level journey. It's a platform for personal and professional growth, where mentees can seek advice, and innovate their planning and delivery models.

The mentor/mentee project encompasses the following key areas:

  • Matching mentors and mentees based on their expertise, experience, and professional goals.
  • Providing participants with guidance on fundamental and effective practices.
  • Offering resources, workshop, and networking opportunities to facilitate mentor/mentee and buddy partnership interactions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of mentorship relationships.

How Can You Get Involved?

The initial commitment involves mentor/mentee buddy pairs meeting at least once per month over a three-month period. This collaborative effort will focus on sharing knowledge, setting goals, and developing plans and delivery objectives.
