Equal trades – women in construction

A case study by Accrington and Rossendale College.

Accrington & Rossendale College launched an initiative to raise awareness of women in trades and challenge the stereotype that these fields are for males only. The project highlights the many opportunities for young women to succeed in the trades. “Equal Trades,” an event created by student ambassadors, aimed to show young women that there are exciting opportunities for them in these industries.
