Care cafés: creativity and collaboration in action!
A case study by Birmingham Metropolitan College
Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet) launched its first student-led Youth Social Action (YSA) project in 2025. The Care Café was at the heart of a dynamic initiative designed to raise awareness and support for young people in care. The project inspired by the experience of two of the YSA Ambassadors, quickly became a college wide effort that united campuses, students, staff, and community partners.
