The National Skills Competition CPD Programme (PDF,1.7 MB) built on the research and outputs from the WorldSkills Legacy projects and the Commission for Adult Vocational Teaching and Learning (CAVTL) It's About Work report recommendations (PDF,2.4 MB) to expand the reach and impact of skills competitions in the curriculum.
Inclusive Skills Competitions for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities (LLDD)
As a key member of AoC's WorldSkills Portfolio Group, NATSPEC (National Association of Specialist Colleges) has worked to develop a suite of Inclusive Skills Competitions, all now leading to National Finals at the UK Skills Show.
AoC, NATSPEC and WorldSkills UK are working in partnership to deliver a three year ‘development strategy’ (PDF,145.2 KB) for Inclusive Skills Competitions. The development is guided and monitored by the National Inclusive Skills Focus Group (PDF,159.35 KB) with representatives from all regions.
