Student Video of the Year Award

With rising popularity of watching videos online as a way to satisfying people's needs for information and entertainment, a video competition seemed like a fitting thing to do and giving our college students a chance to show off their creativity and imagination through making short videos.

The theme is ‘How colleges transform lives and communities'.

The aim of the video is to show the positive impact that college education has on students and their community. You don’t have to be studying multimedia courses. With so many amazing and easy video editing tools and apps on smart phones available at your fingertips, we are certain all students have the opportunity to succeed.

The selected videos will be promoted through social media and AoC's website.

The winners will be announced at AoC's Annual Conference Award ceremony in November, Birmingham ICC. Top videos will be screened during the award ceremony and throughout the conference.

Closing date: Wednesday 5 July 2017

Prize to be won are:
First prize - £400
