The theme for the 2015 competition was 'What Matters Most'. The results for the 2015 award are:
Winner - Alice Armfield, Isle of Wight College
Second place - Jasmine Nicholls, Northbrook College
Third place - Jamie Brown, Peter Symonds College
Alongside the three finalists, the judge selected three highly commended entries:
Julia Baker, Eccles College
This is a subject that is popular (and appeared in different forms from several entrants). For me the lighting and subtlety set this one apart.
Kirsten Larsen, Reading College
This is a beautifully composed, lit and processed triptych. I am a beetroot fan!
Lucy Ling, Walsall College
A beautifully lit still life with a sense of nostalgia that, for me, suited the theme.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday 18 November 2015, at the Gala Dinner of our Annual Conference and Exhibition.
The competition was judged by Michael Pritchard, Director General of Royal Photographic Society. The finalists were chosen based on the level of creativity and the ability to demonstrate this year's theme.Royal Photographic Society
