  Alcohol Awareness Guide
The national problem of alcohol abuse has been well-publicised in recent years. Some of the key areas of concern are outlined in the early parts of this guide as a context for the health education activity with a specific alcohol focus which is being undertaken by Colleges. In fact, much of the very worthwhile work done by Colleges in health promotion does not focus on alcohol, which tends to be addressed as part of education about drug and substance misuse.

This study on post GCSE options for students was conducted by Loudhouse on behalf of Association of Colleges to launch the beginning of Colleges Week (26 September – 2 October 2011). It involved interviews with 500 pupils aged of 14 who are currently studying for GCSEs. Research on post GCSE options

This report on Additional Awarding Organisation Capability was jointly commissioned by AoC and the Skills Funding Agency as part of the programme of work around collaboration and shared services.It offers an overview of the where the sector has already developed awarding capability, evaluates potential new models, and identifies the benefits and risks to the sector of developing such additional capability as well as presenting a general overview of the current awarding organisation market.
