Association of Colleges

The Technology Portfolio Group:

• Engages with Chief Executives, Governors and Principals on policy issues to maximise the benefits of technology, the better to provide strategic guidance and leadership as it relates to the deployment of technology within Colleges;
• Considers the emerging trends in technology and how these might best be applied within Colleges;
• Runs expert discussions to identify priorities and to convene workshops and seminars that focus on the effective use of technology in all areas of College activity;
• Promotes effective good practice from within Colleges, and from external organisations, on how to make best use of technology to deliver learning;
• Develops an ethos of challenge and support which enables Colleges to work together in order to further the adoption of technology.

Membership of the Technology Portfolio Group is restricted to serving College Principals and Vice Principals and reports to the AoC Main Board.
