UK's trail-blazing further education colleges win AoC Beacon Awards
16 November 2011Colleges across the country are celebrating their success in the Association of Colleges Beacon Awards for enterprising and innovative projects including Northern Ireland's first business support centre, a Leg Care Clinic for elderly patients in England and a scheme in Wales to offer support and vocational skills for students from deprived backgrounds.

Colleges call for master-craft apprentices to grow UK economy
