Commenting on today’s announcement of the name, chief executive and board for new FE improvement body ‘Learning and Skills Improvement Service’ Martin Doel, AoC Chief Executive, said: 

“We very much look forward to working closely with the new Chief Executive, Board and officers of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service to continue to develop leadership and excellence within the sector, and to drive forward the self-regulation agenda. There is a real opportunity for a renewed focus on colleges and other providers leading in determining the direction of strategic reform.”
