AoC Communications Survey 2009

In June 2009, AoC commissioned Benchpoint Ltd to survey all College members on their views of the quantity and quality of AoC communications, the awareness of AoC products and services and to identify a preferred route for communications from AoC.

Over 9,000 College members were asked to take part and AoC received a total of 1,245 respondents to the survey, which took place between 9 June and 10 July 2009.
 

The survey showed:

• Over half of all respondents were highly satisfied with AoC communications activities and found the quantity and quality of communications to be about right
• 91% of members preferred online Briefings and electronic communications from AoC
• Over 70% of respondents cited AoC as the main source of information on College issues

AoC has improved in many areas over the past 12 months. Since the last Communications Survey, AoC has introduced several improved features of the website, including a 'Discounts for members' page that includes added benefits for the individual College member.
