AoC Communications Survey 2008

In May 2008, AoC commissioned Benchpoint Ltd to survey college contacts about the new AoC website. We wanted to gather as much feedback as possible so that future development of the AoC website and associated communications can meet the needs of busy college staff. The survey was carried out between 6 and 27 June 2008 and we received 1997 respondents.
 

The survey showed:

• Over half of all respondents used the Briefings library on the AoC website
• 94% of respondents received AoC weekly Briefings
• 89% of respondents rated AoC communications as being of high quality
• And repondents rated the overall AoC website as being a very important tool for their jobs 

AoC has improved the AoC search facility on the website, introduced an automated "Remember Me" function to the website log-in tool and has introduced a new "AoC publications" section to the website. Other future improvements to the AoC website, include a more interactive forum and online discussion section and clearer links to regional information channels.
