Colleges are invited to nominate a person, or persons, to be considered for next year's AoC Gold Awards. The person should be someone who has attended your College and who has since gone on to achieve recognition in their chosen field or profession.

Recipients of the AoC Gold Awards will have:

  • Attended College for a significant period (e.g. for a year, or until the completion of a qualification)
  • Acknowledged that they gained benefit from their time at the College
  • Received public recognition and acclaim, or made a major contribution in their field

Previous winners have included:

  • Fashion designers
  • Authors
  • Actors/Actresses
  • Playwrights
  • Couturier
  • Former Speaker, House of Commons
  • Athletes
  • Chefs
  • Musicians
  • Animators

Please return your nomination forms to the AoC Charitable Trust by Friday 18 December 2009.

The winners will be presented with their Awards at a ceremony to be held at the House of Commons on 15 June 2010.
