Preparing for Inspection: Nominee Excellence

This workshop, led by an experienced additional Ofsted learning and skills inspector (AI), ex full-time inspector, and College Nominee will provide you with the opportunity to discuss inspection including the CIF and associated guidance. It will also feature input from experienced College Nominees and consider planning and preparation.

The session will cover the inspection of safeguarding, equality and diversity, how limiting grades are used, how inspectors evaluate outcomes for learners and how they inspect teaching and learning in the new framework.

Objectives of the day

  • To improve understanding of the Common Inspection Framework.
  • To understand and prepare for the role of College Nominee
  • To understand the data requirements of inspection
  • To understand how inspectors evaluate outcomes for learners, and teaching and learning
  • To understand what inspectors are looking for with regard to safeguarding, and equality and diversity
