The Department for Education (DfE) is sponsoring a series of regional 16-19 Study Programmes Roadshows that will help Colleges prepare for the curriculum and funding changes coming next September. The programme led by DfE will include an outline of the principles of Study Programmes and will explore what changes are needed to implement them from September 2013. Specific consideration will be given to the work experience element and delegates will look at the design of Study Programmes for all levels. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to consider the logistics for their College and come up with an Action Plan for implementation.

The Roadshow's are free to attend and are only open to Colleges and Training Providers. Demand is expected to be high so therefore places are limited to 3 people per College and 20 training providers per regional event.

For further information or to book online visit our registration website.

The changes to the 16-19 funding formula are one of several major changes to College funding which take effect in the next 12 months. If you want a detailed update on all of these changes, you may want to think about attending AoC’s Funding Reforms Conference which takes place in London on Wednesday 3rd October 2012. Discounts are available for booking before the middle of September.
