This network is chaired by Jan Foster, Co-ordinator – Initial Teacher Training at Alton College.  Recent speakers include the Institute for Learning, the Skills Funding Agency and Student Finance England.  The group explored the new landscape for post-compulsory teacher education with the University Council for Education of Teachers and teacher induction research with Tiger Bright HR. The network has also allowed colleagues to discuss and share thoughts on government consultations that have an impact on teacher training.
