Discipline and Grievance Masterclass
Location: LONDON - Etc Venues, Victoria

This one day masterclass is highly interactive and aims to enable delegates to discuss the practical issues that often arise when dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters. The course is aimed at managers at all levels who are responsible for carrying out investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings, including HR professionals and managers who have experience of these procedures and would like to enhance their knowledge and practical skills by exploring some of the more difficult and complex issues that can occur.

The trainer will take delegates through the legal framework that applies to disciplinary and grievance procedures and consider how best to deal with often complex issues, thoroughly and fairly. Throughout the session, delegates will receive expert advice on how to deal with the most complicated issues that can be thrown up in these areas, including situations that could end up in tribunal and strategies for avoiding this.

• Grievances: the importance of grievance procedures
• Informal vs formal procedures
• Disciplinary investigations
• Disciplinary and grievance hearings
• Appeal hearings
