Many Colleges are currently revising their estates strategies to take account of the lack of capital support from the LSC, the general funding squeeze on adult provision and the need to develop resource strategies that enable revenue budgets to deliver Corporate Plans.
What can you expect?
Typically a College's Corporate Plan will focus on the development of the institution's educational character and how it responds to the needs of students for appropriate, quality teaching and learning. This year, the AoC Estates Network Annual Conference will consider how estates strategies, services and property management is linked to core business; that is, the student.
Why you should attend?
This is the only event for the College sector relating to how estates services and asset management relates directly to the needs of the student. With the active participation of students, managers of student services, and facilities and estates managers, this event will provide a lesson in collaborative working that will ensure Colleges deliver a quality, appropriate and responsive service to all students.
Keynote speakers will be tackling some of the hot topics facing Colleges today:
