AoC congratulates A-level students across country

The Association of Colleges congratulates the many thousands of hard-working A-level students in colleges and schools across the country as they receive their results today (14 August).

AoC Chief Executive Martin Doel said:

"Best wishes and congratulations to all those students in colleges and schools receiving their A-levels today.

"Colleges teach two thirds of sixteen to nineteen year olds and over one third of all A-level students. Today they will be helping their students celebrate success or giving those who didn't quite achieve their predicted grades the support and advice they need."

Colleges, working with AoC, have featured across a wide range of national media today. They include St Francis Xavier Sixth Form, Preston and Uxbridge Colleges - all of whom have appeared across national TV and newspaper stations.

Joy Mercer, Quality Manager at AoC, advised BBC radio audiences and Guardian newspaper readers on post-exam choices throughout the day.
