Deputy Director of Centre for Applied Sciences

Salary £49,140-£54,206 (inclusive of London weighting)

Location: Centre for Applied Science, The Angel

City and Islington College is a national leader in FE and has been judged outstanding in every measure by Ofsted. The Centre for Applied Sciences is one of five College Centres. It has received a Grade 1 in Science and was included in Ofsted’s 2010/11 good practice survey inspection programme. The Centre was awarded the Queen’s anniversary prize and STEM assured status.

We are seeking a Deputy Director to join the management team at the centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Grade 1 college management team, contribute to curriculum planning and policy whilst managing this world-class centre.

You will be able to demonstrate curriculum management experience within FE, preferably (but not essential) within a STEM subject qualification and communication skills required to establish and develop partnerships at a local, national and international level. You will have the capability to generate and develop new and existing income streams.
