Packed with helpful information, PR packs, posters, leaflets and much more - www.collegesweek.org is now live.
Over eighty Colleges have so far signed up to support Colleges Week, the new celebration of the College sector and more are encouraged to take part...
Colleges Week is a new initiative, supported by AoC, DIUS and LSC to celebrate the work of Colleges and their contribution to unlocking talent across the country.
The celebration will be launched on Monday 10 November through the start of 12 week-long ‘Skills Challenges.’
These will be led by a College, in each of the 12 TV regions.
The Week will focus on five themes and will demonstrate the impact colleges have on: developing skills; delivering excellence; building strong communities; helping businesses to succeed and transforming lives.
Thursday will see colleges have the opportunity to engage with local businesses – in the Biggest Ever Business Breakfast.
The Week will culminate on the Friday with a series of skills challenges around the country and we know already that Colleges have taken up the challenge and are planning, with much enthusiasm, a mixture of events which showcase their skills and strengths.
For more information on how to get involved – if you are a College, a student, a partner organisation, an employer or a member of College staff – see www.collegesweek.org or please contact Band and Brown at collegesweek@bbpr.com
